About me
From a young age, I have had a keen interest in psychology, meditation and developing a deeper connection to self and others.
Having completed my degree in Pure Psychology (BSc. Hons, University of Manchester) in 2006 and worked in community-based mental health for over three years, I travelled, worked and lived in Kenya, South America and finally settled in Spain where I worked in education for over 11 years. After completing my Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychology, (Asociación Española de Psicología Clínica Cognitivo Conductual) in 2017, I continued to work in education in Madrid.
In 2021 I became deeply interested in learning about somatic therapy after a profound experience helped to shift a deep-rooted trauma. I have studied with The Embody Lab (Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate Program) and Diane Poole Heller and Peter Levine (Somatic Interventions for Chronic Pain & Other Syndromes and Healing Trauma with Dr. Levine) to deepen my understanding of the role our bodies play in protecting us from trauma and how to connect with our bodies in order to heal ourselves.
The desire to empower and help people to heal themselves is what drives me.
